"I cannot say enough good things about my experience for a week at Rosemary Beach and the Racquet Club. Starting with the friendliness and helpfulness of Thoma Sue and Melody in the pro shop the overall vibe of the place is one of fun while working on one’s tennis game. The clinics with the pros (Christian, Scott, Luke and Mike) were solid. It was evident others felt this way as there were repeat customers like myself and that only enhanced things. "The Rosemary Beach Raquet Club hosts a staff of professionals that I honestly call my friends. Mike, the head pro, with his brother Jonathan are an excellent teaching/leading team. They offer all skill levels of instruction and I rarely have an issue reserving a court. In the pro shop is Tomasue, who always welcomes anyone with a huge smile. "The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking, but most people come by bike or walk the beautiful paths to the courts. The clinics and round robins fill up fast during peak seasons, so register early.
It would be great if they had a player-matching white board system with names and numbers rather than relying on the desk alone, especially since they close around 5:00pm, but the courts stay open 'til 9:30pm. Bring balls - they are almost $5 per can at the pro shop! It's almost impossible to get a court in the morning, but things seem to clear up around 11:00-ish if you're willing to play in a hotter temperature."—K.P., Adv. Int., April 2010
