Jasper Park Lodge is a cluster of cedar chalets and log cabins set at 3,400 feet in Jasper National Park. The original lodge, built in 1922, burned down and was replaced in 1953 by another on the same site. It has four outdoor hard courts (though there are some indoor courts 20 minutes away available to guests for an hourly fee). Otherwise the principal summer activities are hiking amid the chiseled peaks of the park, canoeing on the lake, biking, mountaineering, and horseback riding. If you still need more exercise the hotel has a fitness center and spa. The park also has an 18-hole golf course.
