Built in 1888 to resemble a Scottish Baronial castle, the Banff Springs Hotel looms above the trees at 4,752 feet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. It holds 770 rooms and suites and gives guests access to a wealth of recreation, including canoeing on the park's rivers and lakes, horeseback riding, mountaineering and guided nature walks, whitewater rafting, golf at its own academy, and tennis (including private lessons) on the hotel's 5 Supreme courts.
