Jeremy Loomis, the head women's tennis coach at Swarthmore College, runs these summer sessions, providing as much as six hours a day of instruction and drills. He has an array of learning aids for beginner and Dartfish videoanalysis for the more advanced players. Although most of the instruction will be devoted to tennis, Loomis also includes an introduction to such other racquet sports as badminton, table tennis, and squash.
There are two types of camps: adidas Junior Camps, for players ages 7-17 and run in two, Sunday-to-Thursday sessions in July; and a High School camp, for players ages 14-18, run over three days in late June or mid August (the latter for advanced players only).
