"I have been to many rated tennis resorts including Wild Dunes, Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne and Four Seasons Nevis so I have an excellent idea of the experiences available. I also know the Rosemary Beach tennis center very well, I have not experienced any tennis resort with the dedication to the tennis player experience as Half Moon offered. My comments of the great experience offered began when greeted in the tennis complex and applied to everyone encountered in the tennis facility staff. My highest complete go to the instructor I worked with in clinics and the one on one - Dean Stephens. This was not a feel good approach to a clinic but an honest desire to improve my game / swing. Dean was soft spoken and very patient with me - way beyond other instructors at my club or favorite resort. The pros that I have worked with are all good pros, but so far have not shown their dedication to my game that Dean demonstrated. "I've been to Half moon for the ITF tournament in April in 2016 and 2017. The resort itself is beautiful. the courts are pretty good and the pros are good. The tournament itself is very poorly run. The tournament director is not great. They would do much better without him. It's too bad because it is a lot of fun at the gorgeous resort. "Everyone plays tennis at Half Moon! It is the hub of resort activity. There are group drills offered and match arranging, but it seems like everyone takes private or semi-private lessons. Marcus and Clive were our favorite pros, but they all seem good. Ballkids are available if you want them and take a share of the pro's tip.
