Kalamazoo is of course well known as the home to the boys 16s and 18s SuperNationals. Head women's tennis coach Mark Murphy directs the program, which has campers on court up to 6 hours a day. They focus on fundamentals, but vary the approach and curriculum depending on the camper's level. That means basic for beginners, more strategy and competitive aspects for tournament players, and appropriate challenges for those in between. Campers stay in dorms, with various social and recreational programs supplementing the on-court work.
