Rate Rod Ray Tennis Camp at Wofford College (Juniors)
Now in his 12th year as the coach of the Wofford College men's and women's tennis teach, Rod Ray brings his coaching skills to bear on his summer camps. He emphasizes communication and integrity along with simple hard work and the value of determination. Activity takes places on the 11 DecoTurf courts at Reeves Tennis Center on tree-rich campus. During the Sunday-Thursday summer camps, he strives for a familial atmosphere and focuses on making the on-court work both action-packed and fun, with an emphasis on improving skills. He and his staff teach technique, tactics, and the development of a stronger mental game, the last through helping you understand the role of emotions. He also offers a three-day Junior Professional Camp for more advanced players where the emphasis is on match-play situations. All campers stay in air-conditioned dorms near the tennis complex, athletic center, and dining hall. The evenings are filled with fun evening activities.
