The University of California at Santa Cruz overlooks the Pacific Ocean from an already beautiful 2,000-acre campus of rolling hills and towering redwoods. U.C. Santa Cruz men’s tennis coach Bob Hansen has been running camps on the university’s 12 courts for more than two decades, leading his teams to Division III National Championships seven times. His co-director Ben Belleto is the head men's tennis coach at Pomona College. Students stay in the university dormitories and eat in the dining hall.
Also taking place are a series of National Training Camps. These bring together ranked players to experience training in a total tennis environment. A ranking is not a requirement, but it is highly recommended.
