Set on the shores of Lake Virginia in northcentral Florida, historic Rollins College, which dates to 1885, has a national reputation for the quality of its athletic programs. Andy Gladstone, Director of Competitive Tennis for USTA Florida and former assistant men's coach at Rollins, and his wife Rita run the summer program on the college’s 12 lighted tennis courts. The first three sessions are open to anyone age 9-18; then beginning in late July they switch to Tournament Tough sessions for ranked and advanced juniors pursuing rankings under the direction of Carlos Goffi (see Rollins Tournament Tough for details).
In both programs, campers stay in air-conditioned dorms and eat in the dining hall. Beyond tennis, there are playing fields, a swimming pool, gymnasium, and recreation center. The program also includes an optional trip to Universal Studios.
