Rate NIKE Junior Camp: Lawrenceville School (Juniors)
The Nike Junior Camp at the Lawrenceville School, 4 miles south of Princeton, New Jersey, has been in operation for 38 years, much of that under the direction of Jim Poling, the former Rollins College men’s tennis coach and now the head men's coach at the U.S. Military Academy at West point. His co-director is West Point asistant coach Randy Rowley.
Campers—who number as many as 75—stay in the preparatory college’s residence halls. Tennis takes place on 16 outdoor courts, with the indoor courts at Lavino Field House available in case of inclement weather. In addition, the school has baseball and soccer fields and a lap pool. Off-court activities include daily swimming, talent shows, camp dance, movies and pizza night and laser-tag. Two of the sessions include training for ranked players.
