The Loomis Racquet Academy at Swarthmore
Swarthmore, Pennsylvania
Jeremy Loomis, the head women's tennis coach at Swarthmore College, runs these summer sessions, providing as much as six hours a day of instruction and drills. He has an array of learning aids for beginner and Dartfish videoanalysis for the more advanced players. Although most of the instruction will be devoted to tennis, Loomis also includes an introduction to such other racquet sports as badminton, table tennis, and squash.
Season: June 24-July 27, 2012
Ages: 7-17
Rates and Reservations
Camps run Sunday to Thursday. Resident rates include instruction, lodging, and all meals (overnight campers must be at least 11 years old). Reduced rates available for multi-session stays.
June 24-28, July 1-5 & July 8-12, 2012
Resident: $900/session. Day: $550/session.
