"Excellent resort for tennis. The tennis pro, Glenn Gerbino was available and very helpful. Private lessons were reasonably priced. He has a common sense approach to tennis. He was able to solve a few nagging tennis issues and our game improved from being there. I suggest contacting Glenn before your visit to get the current clinic schedule and arrange for private lessons.He's off on Sundays. 5 courts with good lighting. 
Resort was nice, great pool.The suites next to the courts were spacious. Hotel concierge was excellent. There are larger resorts in the area with nicer facilities but at 3-4 X the price. "Nice resort and a very good, though small, tennis program. The courts are in great shape and Glenn is great at his job. He won't change your strokes (assuming you know the basics already) but he'll tell you what he sees in an effort to make them better and that's what I was looking for. Definitely recommended but be prepared for a lot of sun!

"I had a great experience at the Carefree Tennis Camp Resort, the weather was perfect in a beautiful setting of the Arizona desert. I definitely learned a lot from one of the best tennis instructor Glenn, gained some memorable tennis tips by his simple analogs. It was a tough workout and a great learning experience, since I hadn't played in a while. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to combine vacation with playing tennis. "Glenn, the tennis pro was very professional and clearly is building a nice program. We had 5 semi-private clinics including one cardio hour, and it was clear that he cared that we were gaining new skills, plus having fun! He was very flexible at setting up a program dealing with both of our skill levels. The resort is sort of run down, but is in the process of remodeling.
