"All around competent, friendly staff. Great setting in Vermont. Good climate and courts were in great shape. While accommodations were nice and spacious, a little updating would be in order."—A.M., Int., August 2011

"The Bridges is exceptional as both a tennis learning venue, and as a fun recreational tennis resort. All courts, hard and soft, inside and outdoors, are kept in beautiful playing condition. The teaching pros are carefuly selected for their ability to instruct both kids and adults. Condos are clean and comfortable year round, be it ski or tennis season.
The towns and villages in the Mad River Valley sparkle with year round sports activities in a four seasons setting. Winter sports, spring, summer, and fall sports can all be found here. You can even try sailplane soaring at the local airport. Because of the many year round activities, better restaurants can afford to operate throughout the entire year. This provides the guests at the Bridges many dining opportunities with a great variety of both homey and exotic food choices. Montreal is just two hours away and a grand city in which to watch the Rogers Cup Canadian Open Championships.
I have visited the Bridges 12 years in a row, and every year has been great. During this same time span I also attended tennis camps in Stowe, VT; Waterville Valley, NH; Amherst, MA, North Conway, NH; Killington, VT; Stratton Mtn., VT; and Sunapee, VT. All of these tennis resorts were wonderful and rewarding; however, I strongly believe that the Bridges has the overall best facilities and staff which provide for a dependable, and a delightful tennis experience."—J.H., April 2011

"The Bridges tennis program is mostly a summer thing, tho they have 2 indoor clay courts for year-round play. If anything, the program has gotten better and, if possible, friendlier under director Josh Hanna.Since most of the staff have competitive experience, they can improve even advances players. Notably, the Bridges undertook a multimillion dollar site improvement program, and the facilities look fresh -- to match the splendid, wonderful Vermont mountain surroundings. Lots of other sports and outdoor activities there in the Mad River Valley. best thing to do is ask previous guests and I'll bet you won't find any non-admiring folks."—B.W., Adv., April 2011

"Highly Recommend. We are going back for 5th straight year. We have been to numerous other places to compare. This our favorite by far. Head pro, Josh, is great. Private, lessons, clinics, and game matching. Always learn a lot that I apply to the three leagues I play in Florida. My game is better, because of Josh and the Bridges."—N.C., Adv. Int., April 2011

"I found the tennis clinics to be very well run and the coaching staff was very nice. I really enjoyed being part of the tennis program for a week during the summer. I also come to the Bridges in the winter and while my family skis I get to play tennis with the same pros which is very nice. They have helped my game and helped me find matches to play too."—S.L., Adv., April 2010

"The Bridges is the best. In fact, it is so wonderful that my family and I have been going each summer for 26 years. Situated in the beautiful mountains of Vermont it is truly a get away. It is a family resort and we are always made to feel like part of the Bridges family. The tennis is outstanding and both my children and I have developed our love of the game through participation in the tennis program there. The instructors are superb, daily clinics and round robins are always available and the tennis camps for the kids are the best. The facilities are wonderful and we look forward to another exciting summer of tennis this year as well."—P.L., Adv. Int., April 2010
