"Both of our daugthers particiapted for a week last summer and it was terrific. Our daughters Lauren and Lindsey take tennis quite seriously but still watn to feel comfortable with the pros and other participants. Billy Stearns, Stokie and the other pros quickly identified the levels of participants that week and set the program up so that everyone was placed at a level that would benefit them most.
The week we were there, Stan Smith was on court every day rotating between participants giving pointers. Even one day when it rained they went indoors for conditioninig and a lecture program with Stan and Billy.

Rate Smith-Stearns Tennis Academy (Juniors)
Former world No. 1 Stan Smith and renowned coach Billy Stearns have teamed up to form an elite junior tennis academy operating out of the Sea Pines Racquet Club on Hilton Head Island. They work with promising juniors and young professional players and have a boarding option for those who wish to attend full time. Former touring pro and renowned coach Bob Butterfield is also part of the staff.
For nationally or sectionally ranked juniors the program runs 6 days/week. Aspiring juniors have a 4-day-per-week program. Both are available on a daily, monthly, or semester basis.
Season: Year-round
The following are the rates for intensive programs for sectionally and nationally ranked juniors. These rates are for instruction only, though room and board available at additional cost. See their website for details.
