In general I prefer group lessons, they usually represent more bang for the buck. Private lessons can be helpful if one is working on a specific problem (i.e. stroke, footwork, etc.) AND one has the right instructor who can analyze an individual’s game and make specific suggestions. Telling everyone the same thing is generally not too productive.
